    Hey everyone!

For those who don't know me, I'm Dazyk, a proud, founding member of the Frozen Fingers (miss you @Fult !) and an upstanding member of the Seventh Veil.

I've also been playing an MMO called Albion Online: It's a Sandbox MMO with a completely player-driven economy, class-less ability system, full-loot PvP with transitional safe-zones (similar to EVE Online), and an Ultima Online feel (for those old-timers like me).

It's not your typical 'twitch' style MMO like Crowfall, WoW, or most other modern MMOs, either, which I really enjoy. The learning curve is very gradual, and the game caters to many different play styles. In this game, if you just want to be a crafter or a gatherer you can do that. If you want to play solo, you can do that too. If you like moba-style 5v5 battles over territory, you can do that too!

Anyway, if anyone is interested, I encourage you to check the game out. Right now it is in the final days of Beta, with an official launch date of July 17th for Legendary founders ($100 EU), July 18th for Epic founders ($50 EU), and July 19th for Veteran founders ($30 EU). You also get exclusive items and in-game currency with the packs!

Similarly to EVE Online, you can play the game (on launch) completely free, but you get perks if you buy a premium subscription. Subscriptions are purchased with in-game currency, so you could theoretically play with premium status for free!

If you do decide to play, send me a message so we can touch base in game!

One of the best things about Albion is that they have a mobile app for the game that connects to the same servers. You can gather and craft in your phone and PvP on your computer on the same character.

Sadly, I can't commit to any game, but Albion is fun to mess around with here and there.

Does this work on the iPad right now? I watched the videos and saw the one where they were on multiple platforms but was that just the example that the company had set up or are all the platforms actually available to regular users now?

I had it working on my Nexus 5 Android phone when a bunch of us were playing back in October or so. No idea about the iPad.

iOS support is purported for July 17th launch. I was even playing it on my LG3 phone last week. Phone is not ideal, but it did work.

I'm in the same boat... Which is why I am not starting a Veil guild chapter for Albion or anything like that (although that would be cool).

Fult will travel to Albion, to look what it looks like. Fult hopes to meet Dazyk on the way. Maybe Fult will study to become a Stew Master or a Tome crafter.

Dazyk was right as always. On the first day, a warrior gave Fult a mule to feast on. After dinner, Fult decided to enjoy the journey and to study the crafting of cursed staves, because Fult skilled with staff and good at cursing too. Only negative point was trainer being an evil magic user. But Fult crafted Fult's first cursed staff ! Fult was very proud and Fult had lot of fun crushing heads with it and cursing a lot. So far, inhabitants are friendly but Fult did not explore many cities. Crowds everywhere. Fult not used to that, Dazyk can imagine! Inns are all filled with warriors and merchants. First night, Fult had to sleep in a basement with people called "hermetics" or something like that. Nice people. They were excavating something and Fult helped them. Voilà. If Dazyk member of a guild, let a note at the tavern for Fult. (Inhabitants have a weird accent and call Fult "Fultan". They add "an" to every word. At first, it is confusing but after a while you know uncle is unclean, germ is german, etc.).

It sounds like you had an amazing first day! Except maybe sleeping in the basement... hopefully you weren't bothered terribly by the mice. The heretics are pretty nice, other than when they are yelling "Albion is OURS!" or "I will kill you!"

The cities are extremely crowded, but luckily I prefer the wind of the open road. I only enter the cities upon absolute necessity. I have already managed to take advantage of the gold market and make enough silver to purchase my own plot of land, near Lymhurst! You would love it, Fult. It needs a little work, I grant you, but it already feels like home. I will leave a note with the boat-master in Lymhurst to grant you passage, should you wish. Inside my house, there is a treasure chest with refined resources; please help yourself to any you may need!

I have also been graciously accepted into an organization called the Rangers of Celidon (which I insist is pronounced KEHL-ih-don, despite many believing otherwise), and already promoted to the role of Officer. We value Honour, Vigilance, and Mercy in our dealings with the citizens of Albion. We are protectors of the open road and the down-trodden. We are warriors and crafters, scholars and sages. I implore you to contact us! We even have the venerable Nihimon among our ranks!

Be sure to leave a note of friendship at the inn in Lymhurst, the next time you stop by. I would be very honoured to share the open road and bear arms by your side once more!

    Your friend,

Fult is really not surprised rangers took Dazyk as officer. Dazyk is incarnation of values they promote. Fult is also very pleased with the KELLID-On pronounciation, but could not say why.

Nihimon ! < gasp > Wow, that is impressive!
    < thinks a couple of minutes >
Errr... how old venerable is? Dazyk does not think Fult is venerable, isn't it?

Fultan will ask for Lynnhurst and make plan to head this way. Fultan hopes to see Dazykan soon enough!
